The Ontario Multicultural Community Capacity Grants deadline is January 23rd, 2018.
Grants between $1,000 and $3,000 are available for unincorporated not-for-profits.
Grants between $3,000 and $8,000 are available for incorporated not-for-profits.
We encourage all of our members to apply for this grant if eligible. It’s a great boost to your efforts to make your heritage collections more diverse and inclusive, and can jumpstart new collaborations and connections with likeminded groups.
If you want to see our application from the first round of grants, just send us an email. We’d be happy to chat about how to expand the diversity of your digital collections, and how OurDigitalWorld can partner with you on your project.
Then, the deadline for the next round of Documentary Heritage Communities Program funding from Library and Archives Canada is February 7th, 2018. This program funds non-government-funded heritage organizations that want to: make their holdings more accessible, including digitization, cataloguing, exhibits and curation, promotion and outreach; or improve their capacity, including conservation and preservation, digital preservation, and training.
Small contributions below $15,000
Large contributions between $15,000 and $100,000
If you’re putting VITA, OurOntario, our transcription tool, or any of our other work into your project plan, let us know. We’d be happy to support you in any way we can.
