“I invite the communities to imagine new and innovative proposals for the third funding cycle so that the Documentary Heritage Communities Program ensures the growth of dynamic local archival and library communities across the country.”
– Dr. Guy Berthiaume, Librarian and Archivist of Canada
The previous two cycles of the DHCP have been very fruitful for making more of Canada’s culture searchable and accessible in the digital environment. ODW has proudly worked with successful grant applicants including the Federated Women’s Institutes of Ontario and the Delta Mill Society/Rideau Lakes Public Library to digitize enormous collections of provincial and local heritage materials.
The third cycle of the grant is now open for application. See the announcement here.
